I knew my spouse was the one because I saw how much he wanted to provide for and protect me. Early on in the relationship my car broke down and he told me to take his car to work and he would take the bus to his work until he fixed my car! When things got serious he told me he would work as much overtime as needed so I could quit my job and stay at home to raise the kids. He always wanted to be the man who provided for our family and fix things and I've always found that very attractive.
