Nothing Was Good Enough

I was 20 years old when I got married to a great man. He would walk on water for me. Then we had 2 kids, and he became just some lazy bum who came home from work, watched TV, ate all the food I just cooked, messed up the house, and always complained about the kids being too whiny!

Well, I bought your book the other day and am only on chapter 4, but I must say in the few days it has taken me to read this far, it has really proved to me he never really changed.  I was the one NAGGING, COMPLAINING, seeing things as NEVER GOOD ENOUGH and having a BAD SEX LIFE. I was so stressed out with kids and the house that by the time he got home, I wanted nothing to do with him and just wanted to take a shower, lay in bed and watch TV.

Thank you for this book! He came home not feeling well, and I gave him a little surprise (wink, wink) and he was in shock! I haven't done that since before the kids were born! He loved it and his whole attitude changed! The next day I put on some make-up, his favorite shirt of mine and some perfume and just smiled as he walked in the door. He was pleasantly surprised to see me happy. Today I am not sure what I am going to do but I know if I want us to be a happily married couple, then my attitude must change and make him the center of my universe again!!! Thank you!!!
