Dr. Laura, you will appreciate this story. When my husband and I were first getting to know each other, on our second or third date, I took him racing with my crew on my J-24 to determine if: 1) Was he able to handle a competitive woman who was in charge? and 2) Would it bother him that my crew were all male - any jealousy issues? He passed with flying colors, we got married and he still races with me today.
