Hi, Dr. Laura,

I will be married to my husband for 30 years come August. Over the years, he has gained the ability to control his anger (which used to be quite quick!) and to put a positive spin on just about every situation. He quickly puts things into perspective. He has a knack of calming me through all of the storms in life. Where I see problems, he's very quick to remind me that it's not the end of the world and offers comforting solutions, ideas, and just plain "re-assurance." I'm very quick to react to things as "doom and gloom" and he's just able to pick me right up out of it and help me see that things just aren't as bad as they seem. I can't imagine life without him!
