I Did It! I Quit My Job!
Hello Dr. Laura!
Well I did it! I FINALLY did it. I QUIT my stressful job to stay home with my ten month old! I can't tell you how much stress has been lifted by just telling my boss: "I quit. My kid needs me." I was so afraid I wouldn't be patient enough but I bought your book, "In Praise of Stay At Home Moms" and after reading it I know I can do it!
What further cemented it was the director of our day care was fired after 11 years because she couldn't keep up a quota of clients! Imagine that! Just goes to show you daycares are still a BUSINESS!
Just knowing that I am going to have all the time and attention to devote to my wonderful kidlet and my awesome husband makes my life full and complete! Thank you for your pushing. I listen to you everyday and it finally sank in!
