Mom With Bulimic Daughter
I just heard the Mom with the Bulimic daughter call on my StreamLink and my heart went out to her. For the last 3 years, my husband and I have struggled with our bulimic daughter and her situation. We have also had her in-patient in one of the best facilities in the country for 5 months, taken her to countless doctors, psychiatrists, therapists, etc.. Nothing worked. Like the caller's daughter our daughter would purge in her room and leave it for me to clean up (that was the part that really hit me). Anyway, it was the most difficult thing we ever did but on graduation day we gave her a car and a 30 day notice to move out (then I cried for 7 days straight). That was in June and now she is doing better. She found a half way house to live in and is finding her own way. At least I don't have this power struggle with her everyday that just seemed to make it worse.
Thanks to listening to you for the last few years I had the strength to do this FOR MY DAUGHTER. Now I realize it was the best for the whole family, because now I am able to focus on my 3 other daughters and my husband who have suffered enough watching all of this.
