Saving My Sex Life
Dear Dr. Laura,
Recently you commented on your program about the ridiculous way so many married women give up the wonderful joys of sex because...why do we do that again? You suggested that women selfishly request their husbands drive them crazy because we women deserve that gift of pleasure! "Do it for yourselves!" you said! Well, it struck a chord with me!
Soon after, I announced to my husband that I miss the way he used to drive me crazy with amazing sex, and I told him that I want him to get back to that responsibility. Well...a huge smile spread across his face, and to be polite I'll just say, ask and you shall receive. He takes his responsibilities very seriously, and this responsibility is now back on his list. We are both happy for it! Also, it is very difficult to take on the "sleeping with the enemy" attitude we women so often adopt when the "enemy" is providing so much pleasure! It is a little difficult to indulge in our often hormone-driven annoyance when you are having trouble seeing straight!
Most of all THANK YOU for reminding me of the God-given pleasures we all should enjoy! Life and health are too fragile to willingly give up any pleasure of our amazing bodies before we absolutely must!
