The Granddaughter Who Almost Wasn't
I spent 45 minutes on the phone with my 17 year old granddaughter yesterday telling her happy birthday (she lives over 600 miles away). After hanging up I thought to myself about my daughter when she was pregnant. After having a sonogram, she was told that her baby was going to be born with spina bifida and she should terminate... She didn't even consider it.. Here it is 17 years later and my granddaughter was so excited about become 17 and getting to drive and starting college in 2011...She's a junior in high school and has her sights set on going to veterinary school after she graduates in 2 years..WOW!! Should my daughter had listened to the doctors the world would have been without this fine young lady and been without a vet...
One proud Grandma!!
