What A Man!!!
Dear Dr. Laura,
I just needed to brag about the sweetest husband ever. I am 38 weeks pregnant with our second daughter, and it has been a rough last trimester. I have had such terrible hip pain since I have gotten bigger and it has really affected my ability to take care of our two-year-old and keep on top of the house work. My husband works full time and is a full time student which enables me to be a stay-at-home mom. He doesn't have any time to get the housework done, which has been piling up. We live in Alaska, 3000 miles away from our families.
My husband could see the fact that I couldn't wash my own dishes was really getting to me. He surprised me today by sending a cleaning crew over to my house to do whatever I needed them to do. I know this seems like such a small act, but it means so much to me that my husband recognizes my needs and does what he can to make me happy.
I am the luckiest wife in the world!
And, although he doesn't know it yet, he will be coming home to his favorite home-cooked meal and a lot of lovin' tonight!! I may be 9 months pregnant, but I'm sure I can still fit into a sexy nightgown for him and he will still think I'm the most beautiful thing on earth.
