And the Stinky Goes To...
Hi, I'm Dr. Laura Schlessinger and welcome to the Dr. Laura YouTube channel. And today will be the beginning of what will unfortunately be repetitive. I'm going to be giving the "Stinky Award" to various incendiary people or organizations I think are not functioning in the best interest of families. And this first Stinky Award goes to... any mall in America that has a Victoria's Secret, or an Abercrombie & Fitch.
You're a parent, you're bringing your little kids to the mall, they're getting their ice creams, they're buying their little doo-dads and toys and clothes, and what do they see as they walk by these two places? Mostly nude photographs and plastic models with hardly any clothes on them.
Now, I am not a prude. I dress cute, but when these stores go out of their way to show naked, provocative photographs and images, when people are coming by with their little kids, what does that tell little boys about respecting women? What does that tell little girls about how they're supposed to behave? Come on, give me a break. I think most of you ought to go to "mom and pop" stores in your neighborhoods or buy online.
That's our first of too many Stinky Awards.
