Though infinitely rewarding, making the right choices and acting on those convictions cannot only be challenging but often isolating. That is why I am so proud to introduce my website to you. DrLaura.com is a safe haven especially designed for those cultural warriors dedicated to bettering their lives, their neighborhoods and society at large. The same topics I preach, teach and nag about on my radio show, we can together explore in depth in this community like atmosphere.

If you listen to my radio program, you’re aware of the enormous quantity of information and thought provoking faxes I receive from my listeners. The other area is my Activism Center. It is easy to sit back, contemplate the ills of society and shake your head in reproach. But, until you’re willing act on your concerns to right the wrongs, simply shaking your head is only going to result in strained neck muscles. If you want to make a difference, you have to be willing to challenge yourself, to get motivated, to get mobilized and do the right thing. That's why we've built a home for activism on my website. I highlight the issues that I believe are important. Then, the activism center not only provides you with facts from both sides of the issues, but within just a few simple steps, it enables you to send a powerful message to your representatives to let them know where you stand on those issues.
