Dr. Laura once said she thought there was a verse in the Bible about trying to reason with idiots. Proverbs is full of excellent verses close to that!
One specific verse that I found for her to reference is Proverbs 23:9:
"Do not speak in the hearing of a fool for he will despise the good sense of your words."
That's excellent advice! I love Dr. Laura.
