Who Is This Young Man? My 22-year-old son asked me what I wanted for Christmas, and I told him, "Something from your heart." He groaned, which wasn't unexpected, but the gift he came up with was amazing. More >>

Try to Remember the Kind of 'December'... I'm a hospice volunteer and I paid my weekly visit to my 101 year old patient last Friday. Her son was visiting from the east coast with his wife and we were soon joined by his wife's son, wife and 3 year old little girl. More >>

Even My 3-Year-Old Gets It ...While my family is sleeping, a few mornings each week I wake at 5 am to go to the gym down the street to work out. This morning, as I was walking back home at 6:15am, I passed the day care next to the gym and saw a mother getting her sleepy toddler out of her car and take her into the day care. More >>
