IconTo tempt or not to tempt....that is the question.  Whether 'tis nobler to seduce already or ready-to-be overweight children with pop toys to get them to eat more fat and salt than a horse would tolerate OR find a way to combine good business sense and family-friendly nutrition? Apparently, McDonald's would rather just seduce your kids - it makes good profits. Well, that could no longer be the case in San Francisco. More >>

IconI was listening to your show when a caller was expressing concern about flirtatious and suggestive texts her husband was sharing with his female cousin. You asked her how long has she been aware her marriage was in trouble and she went off on a tangent but you quickly brought her back on track to where she answered the question, "today". Most of the main dishes that aren't, like a turkey and mashed sweet potato-carrot casserole, also feature produce, seamlessly blended with the meat, poultry, or seafood, to amp up the nutrition quotient. Even decadent desserts are created with your family's health in mind, although they probably will never realize that when they are feasting on custom-made treats, like sugar-free chocolate sandwich cookies topped with store-bought pumpkin butter, whipped cream and walnuts. I usually walk into the dining room to my daughter's paintings drying on the counter and evidence of my son's Tupperware rampage throughout the kitchen. If I start to feel frustrated all I have to do is listen for the giggles and squeals of delight that fill the house. More >>
