During breakfast one day, my husband and I heard a promotion on the radio where you could win dinner and tickets to a show. They called the promotion a “date night” giveaway. Without missing a beat, my husband said, “Every night’s a date night at our house!”
What better way for me to know that the advice in your book, “The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands” was working! I read it years ago, and admit that, at first, I had to reread it every year or two as a “booster.” The hardest part for me was curbing my sharp tongue. Once I mastered that, however, I no longer saw anything negative to comment about! I have a wonderful husband and I plan to keep him happy for another 35 years.
