I am amazed at how awful some parents can be.
I recently overheard one mother saying to another, “When our daughter was little, she would throw up as we took her out of the car to go to day care. She was eventually kicked out of the day care for non-stop crying.” It was heartbreaking to hear the mother follow that up with, “Whew, at least now that she’s 11, she has finally outgrown her ‘attachment’ issue.”
I’m glad the only one who’s thrown up in my car is my dog.
