I got the following forwarded message from my husband’s computer, and I was horrified that one of his co-workers would actually send it! It read:
Married man looking for a cheap, easy woman to go out with tonight. Must enjoy good food, but must be a sure thing afterward. I don’t like to waste money. I am free after work today if interested.
After I read it the third time, I realized it was from MY husband!
This man made me laugh. And I was his “cheap and easy” woman that night. Being married more than 30 years, we’ve seen plenty of ups and downs, but we continue to work hard at our marriage every day. We were devoted parents to our now adult kids, but we also showed them how to treat their spouses with respect and love.
After getting that message I took a shower and put perfume in “strategic places!” We had a wonderful evening!
