I think you just saved my marriage. I started listening to your audiobook The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands today. I’m only halfway through, but I had to stop and thank you for opening my eyes to what I couldn’t see myself doing – all the nagging and expectations I set that I wasn’t willing to let slide with my husband. All the anger and resentment for taking care of the kids every day for seven years and not forgiving or giving him grace when he takes care of them for me.
I feel like a complete fool. I even started crying as I was listening to the book. I immediately texted my husband to tell him how completely sorry I am. I’m going to finish the book in the very next HOUR, and I’ve got a pen and paper next to me so I will learn as much as I can in order to change the course of my marriage. Thank you!
