Should I Donate My Kidney?

Eric and his wife have been friends with a woman for a year who has kidney failure and needs a transplant. They decided that Eric would donate a kidney to her and started the process, but his kidney wasn't an exact match. He could still donate his kidney to a stranger, which would match their friend with a kidney from someone else, but his wife is now hesitating about the process since it wouldn't be going directly to their friend. He wants to help, but is now questioning if he should go through with it.
