Men used to marry because they would earn the privilege and pleasure of sleeping with their wives. When a woman offers her body before making vows, she's giving away what a man should earn. Deep down inside, I think men respect unmarried women who refuse to have sex. Men should also refuse — but women hold the ultimate power when they say no.
I’d also like to warn mothers about giving this advice to their teen or adult daughters. The older they are, the more offended they get and won't listen. Maybe us moms should talk to our daughters about “doing the right thing” at a younger age.
