My husband and I are a great team. We entertain a lot, and he knows that I always deal with menu planning, set up, and general logistics. He always asks me to give him a “punch list” of things he needs to do, so he can plan the timing of his day. When I give him the list, the last item is always an endearment, like “Be your wonderful self” or “Hunt me down for a shoulder rub” – things like that.
I learned to do these things from your book “The Proper Care and Feeding of Marriage,” and it’s changed my marriage. It boils down to this: it’s simply the little things that make a big difference. Thank you for guiding me to be a better wife to my incredible husband!
