Hour 1 - Virginia's Ultrasound Prior to Aborting / Anna fears for the safety of her children when they sleep in their own beds, but what Anna may not realize is she uses her children to protect herself.
Hour 2 - Patrick has a son from a failed marriage, an anti-government, punk rock, lazy kid who now lives at home. On a personal level, their relationship is ok, but when it comes to doing chores, etc. it's a different story.
Hour 3 - Jennifer is forever arguing with her husband, most recently about an unwashed juicer. Although she calls Dr. Laura for advice on how to proceed, the phone call quickly turns back on Jennifer and the question of whether she takes proper care of her man.

As the lives of our growing teens become more demanding and involved, they move further away from the family routine of their childhood. Being excited about mom's help in school, playdates and the general support parents provide to young children fade as they progress through their teen years and become more dependent on friends and others outside of the family circle.
