I thought you’d get a kick out of something my hubby and I did recently. His brother came to visit and booked a return flight for the morning. My husband and I were also flying out later that afternoon. The plan was to hang around the city until it was time for our departure. Why drive an hour back home, only to return?
While my brother-in-law was at the ticket counter, I leaned over and whispered to my man, “My underwear matches my nail polish.” I figured he’d have to think about that all day until we got to our hotel that night.
After we said good-bye to his brother, my husband suggested we drive home. “You forgot your headphones!” he told me. But he was really just thinking of what I said earlier about my underwear.
We spent an hour driving back, had some fun, and then returned to the airport in time for our trip. We couldn’t stop laughing about how crazy we are even after 39 years of marriage!
