You and your callers inspire me to be a better human, mother, and wife every day. A recent interaction with my husband proves just that. I had a good laugh and needed to reach out.
My husband recently insisted on sweeping debris off the second-floor roof. I was worried about this, of course! Itβs nerve-wracking when men go up on a ladder as they age.
Instead of pestering my husband to get down, I stripped off my clothes and seductively showed him my naked body through the window. βIβve got a hot shower going,β I told him from inside. Iβve never seen a man get down a ladder faster!
This is a reminder: thereβs no need to nag husbands to do (or not to do) certain things. Instead, letβs simply remind them that theyβre needed and wanted. Thatβll do the trick every time. We turned our afternoon around from doing errands to doing each other. Ha!
From an adoring listener,
Nancy
