Kelly's son became fast friends with a group of boys his age when they moved to a new neighborhood. One of the friends joined the football team and started treating Kelly's son badly, so he stopped being friends with the boy. That boy now has cancer and the family is encouraging friends to visit to cheer him up, but Kelly's son is still holding a grudge and refuses to visit.
