For years, my parents and I have loved to take a two-hour drive to Portland to see the season of Broadway shows that tour there every year. Our tradition was to listen to your show up and back, and it would spark conversation with my parents. In July this year, my dad unexpectedly passed away, leaving my mom to figure out what to do with herself after 44 years of marriage.

It had the colors and designs that made me think of my mom, not to mention such an apt name for what we were going through. I got it for my mom, and it arrived two days later. When I gave it to her, she just sobbed, and she has worn it every day since.
