My husband and I celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary last August. The very next day, I began writing weekly love notes to him. Each note contained reasons why I love him. I made sure to thank him for treating me kindly! For good measure, each week I leave the note on his pillow too.
On my birthday, my husband began leaving ME love notes too! Since it was my 60th birthday, he gave me 1 note for every birthday. He gave me a different reason in each note as to why he loves me.
Our respective love language is words of affirmation. Giving each other unique reasons as to why we love one another is a wonderful way to celebrate our 30th year of marriage.
