Recently, I found myself snapping at my husband more than once. By the weekend, the mood was pretty tense around the house. I tried to think of how I could repair the damage, when I remembered your idea of a having a couple’s bubble bath. I suggested it to my husband, and he immediately perked up. I ran the tub, put in the bath salts, lit the candles and then I got in.
I waited…and waited….and could still hear the TV in the next room. I got out, dripping wet, put on my robe, walked to the living room and said “GET A CLUE!!” We both started laughing. It had been so long since I’d suggested something like this that he thought I was kidding.
The time we spent together in the bath changed the whole mood of the house, and we’re both smiling now. Thanks for the tip, Dr. Laura! Perhaps you should start making bath products to go with your jewelry.
